A slower 6-hour day on the Coast
Vancouver → Gibsons and back in an afternoon: a ferry ride across Howe Sound, an hour on the Q-Bed, and a slow seaside lunch. Here's the realistic itinerary.
Some resets need a week away. Most just need one deliberately unhurried afternoon — far enough from your routine that your phone stops feeling like a limb, close enough that you're home for dinner. Living in Vancouver, you have one of the best versions of that trip hiding in plain sight: the 40-minute sailing from Horseshoe Bay to the Sunshine Coast.
10:20 — Horseshoe Bay → Langdale
Walk on or drive on (walk-on is cheaper and calmer; you won't need a car in Gibsons if you time the shuttle or a short cab). The crossing itself starts the work: forty minutes of Howe Sound, mountains straight out of a screensaver, and nowhere you're supposed to be. Stand on the outer deck. Let the wind do the first ten percent of the reset.
11:15 — Coffee in lower Gibsons
From Langdale it's a few minutes into Gibsons's harbour village. Take a slow coffee by the marina and watch the floatplanes. You're deliberately arriving early — rushing to a relaxation session is a contradiction your nervous system will notice.
12:00 — Your Q-Bed session
The centrepiece: a private, hour-long vibroacoustic session at Quantum Oasis. You lie down, fully clothed, and low-frequency sound moves through the bed as gentle physical vibration, layered with a PEMF field and warm red light — here is the plain-English guide to how it works. Individual experiences vary. Sessions are one at a time, so arrange yours before planning the rest of the day.
1:30 — A slow local lunch
Leave room after the session instead of rushing straight back to the ferry. We can suggest independent cafés within walking distance, but reservations, opening hours, and meals remain separate from your Q-Bed booking unless a written package says otherwise.
3:00 — The seawalk, then home
Walk the Gibsons seawalk to the point and back before catching a mid-afternoon sailing. Check the weather, daylight, and sailing schedule, and leave enough margin that the return trip does not feel rushed.
Book it as one package
You can use this itinerary independently or ask us about a custom day plan built around an available Q-Bed session. The session price and any planning inclusions are confirmed in writing before you book; ferry travel, meals, and third-party services are not included unless explicitly stated.
If you enjoy the session and want to return, a 3-session series and monthly membership are available. There is no need to decide on your first visit.
Ferry times vary by season — check the current BC Ferries schedule when planning. Individual experiences vary; sessions support relaxation and well-being and are not medical treatment.
