Quantum Oasis began with Boris's search for a more humane kind of wellness experience. It is being built around a repeatable promise: clear information, careful screening, an unhurried visit, and respect for every guest's choices.
The question that started everything
I was eighteen when I lost my mother. She was a medical doctor. She had access to the very best care conventional medicine could offer — and it still wasn't enough. That collision of privilege and powerlessness broke something open in me, and it left me with a single, relentless question:
"What is the formula that unlocks the door to our highest potential and wellbeing?"
I chased the answer for years. At first I looked for a quick fix — the one modality or breakthrough that would explain it all. I was wrong. What I eventually valued most was simpler: careful attention, time, a calming environment, and the humility to make no promise that the evidence or the experience cannot support.

Boris's background informs the atmosphere and care around the session. The Q-Bed visit itself remains a wellness service, not psychotherapy, medical care, massage therapy, or another regulated health service. Training details are available on request.

I live and work by the ocean in Gibsons because the water settles me the way I hope the field settles you. I'm happiest with a hard question and a long walk. I'll always tell you the honest version — including when I think something won't help you. And I still think about my mom every time a guest tells me they finally slept.
